Student Rewards Program
Cumberland College introduced the CAREER ACCELERATOR program to help you achieve your goals. This rewards program recognizes students throughout their studies. Eligible students in all diploma and certificate programs may receive up to $6,000* in cash-back rewards, plus up to $500 toward a new computer that meets the required minimum specifications.
Canadian citizens and permanent residents may also be eligible for financial aid. Please contact our admissions team to assess your eligibility.
Complete courses and claim rewards

*Cash-back rewards require successful completion of each required course with a minimum grade of 60% and at least 80% attendance in each course, as defined by Cumberland College’s Attendance Policy. Eligible students may claim the rewards their program allows based on its course count. Students may claim both cash-back rewards and the computer reimbursement. Students who withdraw or are dismissed are no longer eligible. Cash-back rewards are treated as tuition discounts and calculated as such when reimbursement is issued.
New computer reimbursement
Submit a receipt within 30 days of starting your program to claim $500** toward one new computer meeting all of these minimum specifications: 64-bit Intel or AMD processor with hardware virtualization, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and Windows 11.
**One claim per student. Students may claim both this reimbursement and cash-back rewards.
Conditions of the Career Accelerator Student Reward Program
Attend an online interview with our Director of Admission
Only Canadian citizens or permanent residents are eligible
Candidates must hold a permanent status in Canada.
Maintain a minimum attendance of 80% in all courses
As per Cumberland College’s institutional attendance policy.
Your financial obligations must be in order
The payment of your fees must be up to date when you claim your rewards.
Apply for admission now and start studying this Fall. The program ends on December 30, 2026
Complete your admission with a fully documented student file as required by regulation. Be an active full-time student or a graduate when you submit your claim; students remain eligible while active or after graduating. Registration to the Career Accelerator program ends on December 30, 2026.
